  Eliza H. Wolford died at her home two miles north of LaHarpe, on Thursday, July 24, after a protracted sickness of over three years. She was seventy-seven years old, being born in Ohio, on March 19, 1807, and coming to this neighborhood thirty-three years ago. She was a widow and resided with her daughter. There are six surviving sons and daughters. Ther funeral took place on Friday, July 25. The body was interred in the graveyard near to the house, the Rev. I.H. Henerson conducting the services.
